Aquaterra Leisure, popular for the management of six public leisure facilities in Islington, is one of the largest of over 100 leisure trusts in the U.K.
Aquaterra has introduced a free 10-week community-based programme for local fitness enthusiasts, on a temporary basis. Nick Cross, lifeguard at the Archway pool says, “the programme aims to help individuals become fitter, healthier and happier.”
The programme is aimed at encouraging a more productive pass-time for young adults and children in their spare time, away from school, university or work.
The first programme starts Wednesday 18th April 2012 and ‘programme 2’ starts Monday 23rd April 2012. Aquaterra staff says, “Places are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.”
